Episode #167 - Jordan Noseworthy

Jordan Noseworthy joins the FLA Exposure podcast to chat about his recent victory last October to claim the FLA 3 Amateur Heavyweight Title!  We spoke about him training and living in Alberta, mixing his schedule with being a full time teacher and why he made the transition to Alberta!   A true Newfoundlander who is looking to make his way back East in the coming year!  Lots of great topics about his life, the hardest parts of his camp last year and what you can expect from him in the future!   A bit of a technical mishap during this episode as we experienced a bit of Thundersnow which knocked the power out, but to no avail, we got it back together to finish this great episode with our FLA Heavyweight Champion!  Enjoy!

Episode #165 - Megan Allison Parducho

One of the brains behind the scenes of many great tournaments and events in the USA.  Megan Allison Parducho has been organizing and working large scaled Jiu Jitsu events for almost a decade.  We have spoke for many years behind the scenes on events and ideas and it was great to officially meet her and catch up on how things are in California!  We covered her history, her education and how she made her way to the highest level of events in BJJ.  She is also an avid competitor, we covered her past tournaments and how the sport has changed so much in such a short time.  A wonderful, candid interview with a gem in the Jiu Jitsu community!  Enjoy!

Jeremy Landry, representing Port Elgin BJJ.  A beautiful little community just before you make your way across the Confederation Bridge to PEI.  For all of you grapplers heading to PEI in the summer months, make sure to stop in!  Jeremy has a powerful story, one full of adversity, addiction, loss and very hard times.  A story of revival, overcoming the odds and becoming exactly what you were always meant to be.  We dove into his life and discusses some of his darkest moments and how combat sports has helped him regain his focus, leading to this amazing success story!  Recently featured on DDP yoga as a Positively Unstoppable Champion for 2021, he's done big things and going to lots more!  A true gem of a person, and a wonderful new addition to the combat sports community on the East Coast of Canada!
