Had a tonne of fun chatting with UFC star, Andre Ewell on Fight Island and overcoming the broken arm is his last fight. Anthony Romero, a rising Canadian Lightweight spoke about the importance of family and having an agent you can trust really is in sports. Tobias Baker, recently competing last weekend at SUG popped by to talk about that experience and how important the right gym is to an athlete. Finally, we chatted with Canadian Wrestling OG, Chris Prickett & his student, Jasmine Jasudavicius on her transition into female MMA and the importance of being a role model for up and coming female athletes! Finally, JM Holland, a black belt under Eddie Bravo and a super tough athlete who has competed pretty much everywhere and definitely holds some grappling history from Combat Worlds and more! Lucky to be joined by MMA veterans and legends Din Thomas and Chris Kelades! Din is one of the best coaches in MMA and recently left his gym to go out on his own. We caught up with him while in Vegas to coach Tyron Woodley about being prepared, evaluating what you want as an athlete out of a gym and why Tyron Woodley is misunderstood! Chris Kelades, one of the best fighters out of Canada jumped onboard to add his keys to staying consistent and making the right moves in MMA to come out on top. Excellent insight! Thanks gents! GM of Jackson Wink MMA, the Mad Russian Michael Lyubimov was kind enough to talk about what it's like running a world class facility and how he made it to New Mexico from Russia! Jonathan Goulet, one of Canada's original MMA athletes and one who led the way for an entire generation of fighters along side GSP and Patrick Cote out of the scene in Quebec before finishing off with the Tiger King's Saff Saffery! We spoke about what the documentary portrayed, how he dealt with the fame and what it's like now, 7 years after the incident! Super interesting episode, enjoy!
